The Company understands the importance of preventing any violations. RISK MANAGEMENT POLICY

The Company's business activities are affected by certain risks, including risks related to financial instruments, such as market risk (i.e. foreign currency risk and interest rate risk), credit, liquidity and business, which are monitored and managed by the Company through various policies , procedures and processes. Risk management can precisely provide assurance that the Company understands, measures and monitors various risks that arise and the Company adheres to, to the extent practicable, the policies, procedures that have been established to respond to those risks. Indonesia is an archipelago in which two thirds of its part consists of water. This geographic condition creates the need for adequate water transportation, especially for carriage of energy products such as oil and gas. Along with increase in domestic energy demand, and domestic oil and gas production, demand for transportation vessels grows significantly.

Based on the Indonesian government cabotage regulation, the whole sea transportation of goods and products must be carried by Indonesian flag vessels. The company benefit from this regulation as the largest Indonesian domestic tanker owner and operator.

Today, we have own and operate modern and diverse fleet of over 37 sophisticated vessels to support the transportation and

storage of oil and gas for the whole supply chain from production of crude oil/natural gas to distribution of its product: 

1. Our Floating Storage Offloading (FSO)  receive and store the oil from the oil field  through various well head and platform.
2. Our Crude tanker carries take the oil from FSO to refinery
3. Also, our Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) bring each shipment 2 Million Barrel of  import Arabian crude oil to refinery
4. Then, our vessel of various size carry the refinery products to end user (land storage, etc)

On top of Oil and Gas, our company also have serve the domestic and regional shipment of Crude Palm Oil shipment.

Integrated Shipyard with "One Stop Service"

In order to support the integrated shipping business activities, the Company in 2009 established subsidiaries that focus on shipyard business, namely PT Multi Ocean Shipyard (MOS) in Tanjung Balai Karimun, in Riau Islands which provides ship Maintenance, Repair and Overhauling (MRO) vessels service and new shipbuilding (new building).

Geographically, the location of the Subsidiaries in Tanjung Balai Karimun, Riau Islands provide the following advantages for the shipyard operational:

Located in Malaka Strait, the busiest international shipping lanes in the world, therefore provides convenience for ships requiring maintenance in the shipyard, as they will not require significant amount of funds for mobilization and demobilization.

With the total area of 219 hectares and with total coast line under control of the Company’s shipyard reach 1.3 km, it threfore provides access convenience for ships to moor. And the depth of water (draft) of 12 meters provides better ability to carry out MRO and new building works for large-sized vessels.

Located in the Free Trade Zone area.

Samudera Ports

Initiated stevedoring business since 1986 in various ports in Indonesia. In 2003, the business unit then developed further to become terminal operator, which services include:

• Stevedoring services, including unloading and stacking of containers and general cargo.
• Management of bulk terminal, container terminal and multipurpose terminal.
• Provision of supporting port equipments.
• Provision of clean water on ships.

The company currently operates 4 terminals and ports; 3 of them are located in the port of Tanjung Priok, Jakarta and 1 in Palaran, Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The 2 of the 3 terminals located in Tanjung Priok are managed colletively with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II in providing container and bulk services. The Company also operates a multipurpose terminal, Dermaga Serbaguna Nusantara (DSN), through the Build Operate Transfer (BOT) scheme, which offers ship docking and loading facilities as well as operator for domestic containers and general cargo.

The company has equipped the ports that it managed with cutting-edge equipment such as Container Crane (CC), Harbour Mobile Crane (HMC), Rubber-Tyred Gantry Crane (RTGC) in order to increase the productivity of loading and unloading service. PT Sillo Maritime Perdana Tbk is a company engaged in shipping services to support oil and gas exploration and production activities.

PT Sillo Maritime Perdana Tbk was established on June 1, 1989. The Company started its business as an agent of a well-known international shipping company. However, despite being an agent, the Company still upholds the commitment to continue to grow and always provide the best service to customers. This commitment has enabled the Company to maintain its existence for more than 29 years in the domestic shipping industry.

The momentum of the change in the Company stems from the brave step in 2018 to buy one unit of the ship, namely the anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) ship named Ina Latu. The Company utilizes the development of supporting vessel rental business in the upstream oil and gas industry to change the Company's business navigation for the better.

The step is then followed by the addition of other ships in stages. The company buys several vessels with various functions and types, such as tug boats, crew boats, self-propelled oil barge (SPOB), floating storage offloading (FSO), utility vessels and liquified gas carriers. As of the end of 2018, the Company has 15 vessels operating in the medium and long term contracts.

In addition to the purchase of ships, the Company expanded its business by making an initial public offering on June 16, 2016. The decision to go public opened up greater opportunities to continue to grow, in line with the strengthening of the Company's capital. This is demonstrated through the business expansion strategy by acquiring shares of a medium-scale shipping service company named PT Suasa Benua Sukses in 2016 and acquiring PT Eastern Jason, through a 52% stake in PT Pratama Unggul Lestari, in 2017.

Do not stop there, in 2019, the Company also increased capital by issuing new shares without pre-emptive rights (PMTHMETD) or private placement, which is used to increase the Company's capital in its subsidiary, PT Suasa Benua Sukses.
