Until now, Gudang Garam has widely known both domestically and abroad as a producer of high quality kretek clove cigarettes. Gudang Garam products can be found in many varieties, ranging from SKL (sigaret kretek klobot or corn husk-wrapped clove cigarettes), SKT (sigaret kretek linting tangan or hand-rolled clove cigarettes, up to SKM (sigaret kretek linting mesin or machine-rolled clove cigarettes).  Started from a home industry, Gudang Garam cigarette company has grown and developed with a good corporate governance and based on the Catur Dharma (Four Ways of Life) philosophy.  What Gudang Garam has accomplished today is certainly related with the important role of the founder, Surya Wonowidjojo. He was a true entrepreneur, matured by experience and business sense. In the eyes of the employees, he was not only acted as a leader, but also a figure of a father, brother, and friend, who is very concerned about the employees welfare.

 Surya Wonowidjojo passed away on August 28, 1985, leaving a deep impression in the mind of not only employees, but also in the hearts of Kediri people and the surrounding communities. He was a role model who instilled noble values for the company, which is crystallized into the Company’s Catur Dharma (Four Ways of Life):

 Founded in 2002, PT. Surya Madistrindo is a company owned by PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. that distributes Gudang Garam’s cigarettes along with 3 other distribution companies. In 2009, SM became the sole distributor which holds control over all distribution and field marketing strategies nationwide.

 Based in Jakarta, SM has now developed and transformed into a professional and modern cigarette distribution company. Starting with only a few thousand employees, it has currently gained resources that reached over 14 thousand people spread through 12 regional offices and over 180 area offices in Indonesia.  Founded on June 28, 2004, PT Sentra Food Indonesia  is a company specialized in the food and beverage sector and later acquired PT Kemang Food Industries and PT Sapbeverages Indonesia.

 PT Kemang Food Industries  (KEMFOOD) is a pioneer in the processed meat industry in Indonesia. The company pioneered by Mr. Bambang Mustari Sadion (Bob Sadino) in the early 1970s was one of the first processed meat companies in Indonesia. Along with its development, in 1978, Bob Sadino established a factory with modern technology which was established in Pulo Gadung Industrial Area, Jakarta. In 2008 PT Kemang Food Industries (KEMFOOD) has joined and become part of PT Super Capital Indonesia.

 At present PT Kemang Food Industries manufactures various types of processed meat such as sausages, burgers, meatballs, and delicatessen. In addition to these processed meat products, PT Kemang Food Industriesalso produces specialty products such as kebabs, dried beef, mayonnaise, and thousand island. In order to maintain good quality and quality all products produced by PT Kemang Food Industries are produced with high production standards by applying production standards in accordance with halal standards of the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) and BPOM certified.  PT Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (Darya-Varia or the Company) is a​ long established pharmaceutical company in Indonesia that first commenced its operations in 1976. Upon becoming a public company in 1994, it acquired PT Pradja Pharin (Prafa) in 1995, and proceeded to develop a wide range of Prescription and Consumer Health products. In July 2014, Darya-Varia merged with Prafa.

 Darya-Varia operates two world-class manufacturing facilities, one in Gunung Putri and one in Citeureup, Bogor, both of which are ASEAN current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) certified. The two plants are focused on manufacturing the Company's own brands, as well as toll manufacturing products for national and multinational principals, both for local and export markets.

 The Darya-Varia Plant in Gunung Putri specializes in manufacturing soft gelatin capsules and liquid products, while the Darya-Varia Plant in Citeureup concentrates on the manufacturing  of sterile injections and solids. The Company also toll manufactures with its affiliate​. In 2013, the Company obtained halal certification for NATUR-E capsules, its animal based gelatin products, marking a first halal certified supplement for a pharmaceutical company in Indonesia.
