PT Guna Timur Raya Tbk was established on February 29th, 1980. The
company was founded by businessman Budi Gunawan. The company focused on
business in the field of transportation or transportation services with
three fleets located in Lodan, North Jakarta.
As time went on, the business grew with more and more customers and
their confidence in the company. The company also managed to increase
the number of fleets by 30 single excel trucks and 10 superior double
trucks.

Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the Company’s commitment
to participate in sustainable economic development to achieve life
quality enhancement and beneficial environment, for the Company, the
local community, and wide society.
CSR activities are also carried out to create, while maintaining
harmonious and balanced relationships that is in conformity with the
values, norms and cultures of the community. The Company is committed to
preserve and encourage the surrounding environment, as a form of social
responsibility. The Company is aware of the community’s significant
role in supporting the Company’s business sustainability.
As an actualization of the commitment, the Company is highly
concerned about the needs of the surrounding community. Various
activities were carried out, including donating sacrificial animals for
Eid al-Adha celebrations, distributing basic necessities to surrounding
communities, providing training to employees, especially drivers, as
well as conducting medical check ups and so on.
The report on the company’s CSR program is prepared based on Bapepam-
LK Regulation No. X.K.6 concerning Submission of Annual report, in
which the reporting is divided into four fundamental aspects, namely (1)
environment; (2) employment, health and safety practices; (3) social
and community development; and (4) corporate responsibility for products
and consumers.
Distributing Sacrificial Animals
The Company carries out a CSR program by routinely distributing
sacrificial animals on Eid al-Adha to the closest mosques around the
Balaraja and Merak Pool. In addition to religious values, animal
sacrifice also teaches humanity values. The form of humanity’s social
care through animal sacrifice is clearly seen in its meat distribution.
The activities reflect the Company’s concern for the community’s
welfare. The Company is committed to carry out the program regularly
every year, in order to increase solidarity between the Company and the
surrounding community.
Distributing Basic Necessities
The Company’s CSR activities in the form of distributing basic
necessities were conducted in the Merak Pool. This activity is carried
out routinely for the surrounding community several days before the Eid
al-Fitr.
