  Bank Bukopin was founded on July 10, 1970 under the name of the Indonesian Cooperative Commercial Bank (abbreviated Bukopin). The bank began conducting commercial business as a cooperative commercial bank in Indonesia on March 16, 1971. Bukopin's business activities initially covered all commercial bank activities as referred to in the Banking Act with the main purpose of paying attention and serving the interests of the cooperative movement in Indonesia in accordance with the applicable Cooperative Law.
  Bukopin then merged with several cooperative commercial banks. The change in name of the Indonesian Cooperative Commercial Bank (Bukopin) to Bank Bukopin was ratified in the Meeting of Members of the Indonesian Cooperative Commercial Bank as outlined in letter No. 03 / RA / XII / 89 steps 2 January 1990.
 Bank Bukopin continues to strengthen services and infrastructure to optimize services to customers. All Bank Bukopin's offices are connected in one online real time network. To support services to customers, Bank Bukopin also operates 881 ATM machines. Bukopin's ATM card is connected to the entire ATM network in the country.

      Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk (hereinafter referred to as "BNI" or "Bank") was originally established in Indonesia as a central bank under the name "Bank Negara Indonesia" based on Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 2 of 1946 July 5, 1946. Furthermore, based on Law No. 17 of 1968, BNI was designated "Bank Negara Indonesia 1946", and its status became a State-Owned Commercial Bank. Furthermore, BNI's role as a Bank which is mandated to improve the people's economy and participate in national development is confirmed by Law No. 17 of 1968 concerning Bank Negara Indonesia 1946.
      Based on Government Regulation No. 19 of 1992, on April 29, 1992, the legal form of BNI was changed to become a Limited Liability Company (Persero). Adjustment of legal form to Persero, stated in Deed No. 131, July 31, 1992, was made before Muhani Salim, S.H., which had been announced in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia No. 73 of 11 September 1992 Supplement No. 1A.
      BNI was the first State-Owned Bank (BUMN) to become a public company after listing its shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange and Surabaya Stock Exchange in 1996. To strengthen its financial structure and competitiveness in the midst of the national banking industry, BNI conducted a number of corporate actions, including another recapitalization process by the Government in 1999, divestment of Government shares in 2007, and a limited public offering in 2010.
      To comply with the provisions of Law No. 40 of 2007 dated 16 August 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies, BNI's Articles of Association have been adjusted. These adjustments are stated in Deed No. 46 dated June 13, 2008 made before Fathiah Helmi, S.H., a notary in Jakarta, based on the decision of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on May 28, 2008 and received approval from the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, with Decree No. AHU-AH.01.02-50609 dated 12 August 2008 and has been announced in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia No. 103 December 23, 2008 Supplement No. 29015.
      The latest amendments to BNI's Articles of Association were made, among others, on the rearrangement of all Articles of Association in accordance with Deed No. 35 dated March 17, 2015 Notary Fathiah Helmi, S.H. has received approval from the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, with Decree No. AHU-AH.01.03-0776526 on April 14, 2015.
      At present, 60% of BNI's shares are owned by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, while the remaining 40% are owned by the public, both individuals and institutions, domestic and foreign. BNI is now listed as the 4th largest national bank in Indonesia, in terms of total assets, total loans and total third party funds. In providing integrated financial services, BNI is supported by a number of subsidiary companies, namely BNI Syariah Bank, BNI Multifinance, BNI Securities, BNI Life Insurance, and BNI Remittance.

      Bank Tabungan Negara was established in 1897 as a postal savings  bank under the name Postspaarbank, with its headquarters located in Batavia. During the Japanese occupation of Indonesia, the bank was frozen and replaced with the Savings Office  (Japanese : Hepburn Chokin-kyoku, Nihon-shiki : Tyokin-kyoku) After the proclamation of Indonesian independence, the bank was taken over by the Indonesian government on 9 February 1950 under the Emergency Law No.9 and renamed "Bank Tabungan Pos" (Postal Savings Bank). In 1963 the bank's current name, Bank Tabungan Negara, was adopted. Bank BTN became the first bank to be appointed by the government to provide housing finance and mortgages to lower and middle income individuals.
      The bank underwent a corporate restructure in 2003, which was followed by an Initial Public offering (IPO)  in 2009 that led to the listing of Bank BTN on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The IPO was ranked as Indonesia's largest IPO as of 2009.
    Bank Tabungan Negara, officially known as PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk, is a commercial bank  based in Indonesia  and regulated by Bank Indonesia, the nation's central bank. 
      Bank Tabungan Negara operates under the brand name Bank BTN and its headquarters are located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Bank Tabungan Negara literally means "State Savings Bank" in Indonesian.       Bank Mandiri is the result of the merger made by Indonesian Government from four older government-owned banks that failed in 1998. Those four banks were Bank Bumi Daya (BBD), Bank Dagang Negara (BDN), Bank Expor Impor (Exim), and Bank Pembangunan Indonesia (Bapindo). During the amalgamation and reorganisation, the government reduced the number of branches by 194 and the number of personnel from 26,600 to 17,620.
    • 1951: Bank Industri Negara (BIN) was established to finance priority sectors, such as plantations, industry and mining.
    • 1959: The Indonesia government nationalised Nationale Handelsbank  operations in Indonesia and from them created Bank Umum Negara.
    • 1960: The Indonesia government nationalised the Indonesian operations of two more Dutch banks. It used Nederlandsche Handel Maatschappij  operations to create Bank Ekspor Impor Indonesia.  Escomptobank became Bank Dagang Negara. The government also established the state-owned Bank Pembangunan Indonesia (Bapindo) and merged BIN into it. Bapindo specialised in medium and long-term financing of manufacturing, tourism and transportation.
    • 1964: The Indonesia government nationalised Chartered Bank's operations in Indonesia and merged them into Bank Umum Negara.Chartered Bank, a British overseas bank, had first entered Indonesia in 1863 when it opened an agency in Batavia.
    • 1965: The Indonesia government brought Bank Umum Negara into the Bank Negara Indonesia  group, renaming it Bank Negara Indonesia Unit IV (BNI IV). Similarly, Bank Ekspor Impor Indonesia became Bank Negara Indonesia Unit II (BNI II).
    • 1968: The Indonesian government again reorganised some banks. BNI IV became an independent bank with the name Bank Bumi Daya. The government split BNI II into two parts, with the BNI Unit II Export-Import Division becoming BankExim, which specialised in trade finance.
    • 1986: Bapindo expanded into general commercial banking.
    • 1999: The government merged Bank Bumi Daya, Bank Dagang Negara, Bank Ekspor Impor Indonesia and Bank Pembangunan Indonesia to create Bank Mandiri.
    • 2004: The bank opened a branch in Dili (East Timor) , and a representative office in Shanghai (China)
