PT Indofarma Tbk was established from a small-scale factory in the Dutch Colonial Government Central Hospital who produce sanitary napkins and ointment

1942
Managed by the Japanese government under Takeda Pharmaceutical Management

1950
Taken over by Indonesian government through Ministry of Health and became a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN)

1981
Change the status from private company (Persero) to national company (Perum)

1996
Change again into PT Indofarma

2000
Got an ICO Certification 9000:1994. We expanded the company into subsidiary unit, PT Indofarma Global Medika.

2001
First initial public offering at Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI)


2011
Quasi-Reorganization as the beginning of an era of acceleration to grow.

2012
Commercialization of Indomach, Pharmaceutical Engineering business unit.

2013
The establishment of laboratory test equivalency and clinical test PT Farmalab Indoutama as an Entity Subsidiary Ownership of Indirect

Recertification of ISO 9001:2008, Issue 8 No. IDO3/00102 on Production and Marketing from SGS, GMP recertification from BPOM RI for Regular Tablet and Non-Betalactam Salted Tablets, Non-Betalactam Oral Powder and Non-Betalactam Hard Capsules

2016
Achieved CPOTB certificate from BPOM RI for semi solid dosage form, Recertification of CPOB from BPOM RI for Non-Betalactam Oral Liquid and Betalactam Semi Solid

2017
Achieved CPOTB certificate from BPOM for dosage forms of Estract, Tablet, Capsule, Effervescent Powder, Internal medicine liquid and oral powder.
