The Media Division consists of three television channels: SCTV, Indosiar, and O Channel. The Emtek Parent Company conduct an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of 10% of its fully paid-up capital on the Indonesian Stock Exchange on 12 January 2010 to raise funds for futher investment in its business.

2019

  • EMTEK Group through PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), participated share in PT Benson Media Kreasi (“Samara”). Samara is engaged in offline events, influencer marketing, and talent management. In 2019, Samara held IDEAFEST 2019 carrying the theme “Age of Pride” from 3 to 6 October 2019. IDEAFEST 2019 comprised of 130 sessions and was attended by more than 250 speakers from home and abroad. 
  • Moreover, EMTEK through its subsidiary PT Mediatama Televisi, launched NEX PARABOLA direct-to-home (DTH) pay television in 2019. NEXPARABOLA is an affordable satellite based DTH platform able to broadcast to viewers in urban and rural areas. NEX PARABOLA broadcasts Liga 1, Liga 2, UEFA Champions League, UEFA European League, and EFL Championship through Champions TV.
  • EMTEK Group through PT Screenplay Bumilangit Produksi, EMTEK produced Gundala, the first big-budget superhero movie in Indonesia, and the first instalment in the Bumilangit Cinematic Universe (BCU). PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (Emtek) is holding an One Indonesia Charity Concert that is broadcast live on SCTV, Indosiar, O Channel and Vidio.com with involving 300 celebrities.

The One Indonesia Charity Concert collected donations from viewers of Rp2,804,786,624. Since March 2020, Emtek Group through SCTV and Indosiar, BukaLapak users and Liputan6.com readers have succeeded in collecting donations from the community reaching Rp12,515,173,734 through Emtek Cares Corona activities.

While the acquisition from the sponsors of One Indonesia Charity Concert amounted to Rp6,350,000,000, all of which were offered by Emtek Group to help overcome the Covid-19 pandemic.

All donations from viewers, sponsors, and all profits collected from One Indonesia Charity Concert were handed over to the Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation for the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The One Indonesia Charity Concert was held as a form of Emtek Group's high appreciation of the nation's heroes in fighting Covid-19. The Emtek Group is committed to maintaining Good Corporate Governance (GCG) throughout the Group by applying and auditing the basic principles of transparency, accountability, social responsibility and independence.
