What is the mechanism for taking goods?

CSR: Donation for Pondok Kasih Agape Foundation

Closing the year 2016 ABDA Insurance held another social visit to Pondok Kasih Agape Foundation, on Friday, December 16, 2016.
Agape Foundation is engaged in the care of orphans and children from poor families, located in Kelapa Gading – Jakarta.

CSR in Blood Donation: Share To Care

ABDA Insurance again conducted a blood donation activity as one of its commitment in Corporate Social Responsibility on 13 September 2017 at its head office on the 27th floor of Plaza Asia.
This was the eighth time since ABDA Insurance initiated the blood donation activity in 2011 cooperated with Indonesian Red Cross. Closing the year 2017, ABDA held a social visit to Elsafan Foundation on Friday, December 8, 2017. Yayasan Elsafan is a foundation engaged in maintenance, education and training for children with visual impairment located in Pondok Bambu, East Jakarta. ABDA provided cash assistance to the foundation.

ABDA - PMI Blood Donation Activity

As part of its Corporate Social Resposibility, on 30 July 2018, at its headquarters at Plaza Asia 27th Floor, ABDA insurance organized a Blood Donation.
The event, held in partnership with Indonesian Red Cross, has the ninth which ABDA Insurance has been doing since 2011.

Assistance for Earthquake Disasters in Lombok

As a form of ABDA’s concern for the victims of the earthquake that occurred in Lombok in August 2018, all ABDA employees took the initiative to collect donations to help alleviate the suffering of the earthquake victims. The funds collected from ABDA amounted to Rp. 12,480,000 which is then submitted through AAUI in collaboration with OJK at the Lombok Earthquake Disaster Care Activity, in Tanjung Lombok Utara, Monday, August 13, 2018. Assistance has been given directly by the Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners, Wimboh Santoso to the NTB Provincial Government in Tanjung Field North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

Assistance for Earthquake & Tsunami Disasters in Palu, Central Sulawesi

Following up on AAUI’s appeal to the aid program for victims of the earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Palu and Donggala in September 2018, ABDA Insurance management and employees managed to raise funds of Rp. 35,548,000. Donations are conveyed to disaster victims through AAUI in collaboration with the OJK in joint activities of the Financial Services Concern for the Palu Earthquake. Assistance has been given directly by the Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners, Wimboh Santoso to the NTB Provincial Government in Tanjung Lombok Utara Field, West Nusa Tenggara. Then on Tuesday, August 15, 2018 through the AAUI Branch of Mataram, AAUI also handed over social assistance to care for the earthquake to the Refugee Command Post of Gunungsari District, West Lombok Regency. Donations obtained through this program, were subsequently used as assistance for needs during the emergency response and are currently and are currently building public bathrooms and public kitchens in 8 refugee points throughout the disaster area.

What to Do When You Are Involved in an Accident

  • Report any incident in writing or verbally as soon as possible to the Integrated Claims Unit of ABDA Insurance by phone (021-45851018) or SMS (087782828121) or go to the nearest ABDA branch office at the latest 5 x 24 hours since the occurrence of the loss and/or damage.
  • Fill a claims form provided by ABDA and complete with the supporting documents required to submit the claim and send them to the Integrated Claims Unit by email to klaimterpadu@abda.co.id.
  • Report and obtain a reference letter from the police department for the claim in which a criminal action has occurred, such as theft or vandalism as well as an accident involving any third party (should there is claim by another party).

Tips for Flooded Vehicles

  1. Do not switch on the engine after the vehicle has been submerged in order to prevent more damage to the engine system, for instance, water hammer (water flowing into the carburetor) that makes the piston handlebar broken. This could invalidate the insurance claim, because the fault is on the driver’s side.
  2. Immediately switch off the engine of your car and motorcycle when the incident(flood) happens. We will tow the vehicle with a towing car to our partner auto repair shop. ABDA Insurance provides evacuation service with car carrier and towing car for Jabodetabek Area.
  3. Do not force the car or motorcycle through the flood or try to switch on the engine after the car has been submerged by water, even though the water has dried. We will not pay any compensation if the damage becomes worse due to owner’s or the unsured party’s action.
  4. Make sure that your vehicle insurance policy also covers damages caused by flooding.
  5. Submit the claim for your car or motorcycle as soon as possible.
