BROADBAND CABLE INTERNET



Link Net is a provider of high-speed broadband internet services in Indonesia and subscription television services. Link Net operates these two services with a two-way Hybrid Fiber Optic Coaxial Cable ("HFC") cable system where the system is a technology that uses fiber optic cables and coaxial cables that can be used as a medium for channeling TV programs and as a medium for bandwidth. which can be used not only internet services but also other digital data transmission, such as High Definition TV, 3D High Definition TV, Video on Demand, Home Banking, Home Shopping and Interactive Games. Currently Link Net is a cable operator that operates a high-tech Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (“HFC”) cable system capable of operating 860 MHz two-way broadband services. As of December 31, 2013, Link Net has a network of more than 1,194,000 home-passed stretches in the Jabodetabek, Bandung, Surabaya and Bali areas.

For the target market, Link Net divides the two target markets, namely the consumer market and the business market. First Media Television is the Company's business unit in the field of pay television services. This business unit was established in 2008 and collaborates with PT Link Net Tbk through a cable network as the infrastructure base to operate the subscription television service business.

HomeCable is a trademark or commercial name under PT First Media Television. In operating the HomeCable service, the Company does not only promote the cable network as a basis for excellence alone, other things that are used as excellence are high definition image quality and interactive application The word "interactive" has become a point or attribute of the Company's excellence in competing in the broadcasting industry.

Interactive subscription television service is currently a strong bargaining power to the market. The Company's encouragement to design interactive applications is in accordance with the interests and market preferences of today's young generation. Studies from several survey institutions show that the market for the younger generation or adolescents still relies on television as an information center, followed by online internet media. CONTENT PRODUCTION




The company established FMP in 2008 under the legal entity name PT First Media Production. The establishment of this business unit is engaged in the private television broadcasting service industry. This business unit FMP divides 3 (three) divisions, namely production, post-production and events. The specific forms of the business model that FMP undertakes include making TVC (Commercial Television), events, making Company Profiles, channel programs and films (FTV and widescreen).

FMP's performance until 2016 has released several big screen films produced in-house, in 2016 FMP released its latest screen film entitled "Blusukan Jakarta" on March 24, 2016 as a premiere. In addition, FMP also produces advertisements and develops in-house broadcasts delivered by the Company's subscription television broadcast services, namely HomeCable and BiGTV.

The Blusukan Jakarta film was released by FMP with the adventure drama genre. Synopsis of Blusukan Jakarta film tells of an American journalist named Tony, assigned by his company to assist the BeritaSatu investigation team in finding news. As soon as he arrived in Jakarta, Tony immediately became interested in covering street children and Acil, a street child, became his choice. However, the interview, which initially goes well, turns into chaos when Acil steals Tony's camera. With all his strength Tony chased after Acil until he finally entered the area of ​​the Fishermen Village. Instead of getting the camera, Tony is trapped in the village. There he meets Anggun, a girl who tries to change the world by becoming a teacher for street children. Then Marni, a mother who was forced to become a prostitute because of the situation and Jampang, the head of a thug in a fishing village. Through the four of them, Tony entered the marginal life of the people of Jakarta with all its problems. And as Anggun said, "Jakarta, may not be the most beautiful city in the world, but it is definitely the one that the people miss the most".

This film was made by the Company with the aim of photographing and giving an overview to the public about the lives of street children who every day collect cash purses of IDR 50,000 to IDR 150,000. They are willing to leave school to earn money to support their family. BeritaSatu is the realization of the Company's application in achieving one of the company's visions, namely Channels. With BeritaSatu, the public has the option to be able to enjoy the news that is presented smarter, fresher, more attractive, and more mature. Since its launch in September 2011, BeritaSatu has become the first news channel in Indonesia with High Definition quality. The BeritaSatu HomeCable service can be accessed through channel 6 (Standard Definition) and 301 (High Definition).

Not only broadcast quality, BeritaSatu establishes a concept or positions it as a news channel that provides information to the public with high journalistic standards and upholds the values ​​of integrity, objectivity, impartiality and accuracy.
