Seven Wonders of the World

When I was little, I had read a book but it was unfortunate to know where the book was now. one of the articles that is so interesting that tells about some of the wonders of the world, said to be a wonder of the world because the object was caught by a satellite camera that is in space. as for 7 seven wonders of the world are as follows:

๐Ÿ’ Borobudur temple

The Sailendra Dynasty built the largest Buddhist relic in the world between 780-840 AD. Sailendra Dynasty was the ruling dynasty at that time. This relic was built as a place of worship of Buddha and place of pilgrimage. This place contains instructions for humans to distance themselves from the passions of the world and towards enlightenment and wisdom according to the Buddha. This relic was discovered by the British Forces in 1814 under the leadership of Sir Thomas Stanford Raffles. The temple area was completely cleaned up in 1835.

Borobudur was built in the style of the Mandala which reflects the universe in Buddhist beliefs. The structure of the building is a box with four entrances and a central point in a circle. When viewed from the outside to the inside is divided into two parts, namely the natural world which is divided into three zones on the outside, and the Nirvana realm at the center.
Zone 1: Kamadhatu

the natural world that is seen and is being experienced by humans now.

Kamadhatu consists of 160 reliefs describing the Karmawibhangga Sutra, the law of cause and effect. Describes human nature and passions, such as robbing, killing, raping, torturing, and slander.

The cover at the bottom has been permanently opened so that visitors can see the hidden relief at the bottom. The entire photo collection of 160 relief photos can be seen at the Borobudur Temple Museum located in the Borobudur Archaeological Park.

Zone 2: Rupadhatu

transitional nature, where humans have been freed from world affairs.

Rapadhatu consists of a gallery of stone relief carvings and Buddha statues. In total there are 328 Buddha statues which also have relief ornaments on the carvings.

According to the Sanskrit manuscripts in this section consists of 1300 reliefs in the form of Gandhawyuha, Lalitawistara, Jataka and Awadana. Altogether stretches as far as 2.5 km with 1212 panels.
Zone 3: Arupadhatu

The highest realm, the house of God.

Three circular porches lead to the dome at the center or stupa which depicts the rise of the world. In this section there is no ornamentation or decoration, which means describing the highest purity.

The porch in this section consists of a circular stupa with a hollow, inverted bell, containing a statue of Buddha that leads to the outside of the temple. There are 72 stupas in total. The largest stupa in the middle is not as high as the original version which has a height of 42m above the ground with a diameter of 9.9m. Unlike the stupas that surround it, the central stupas are empty and cause debate that there are actually contents but there are also those who argue that the stupas are indeed empty. 7 Seven Wonders of the world

Relief
In total there are 504 Buddhas with meditation attitudes and six different hand positions throughout the temple.

Temple Corridor
During the restoration of the early 20th century, two smaller temples were found around Borobudur, namely Pawon Temple and Mendut Temple in line with Borobudur Temple. Pawon Temple is 1.15 km from Borobudur, while Mendut Temple is 3 km from Borobudur Temple. There is a belief that there is a religious connection between the three temples but the ritual process is still unknown.
The three temples form the route for the Vesak Day Festival which is held every year during the full moon in April or May. The festival commemorates the birth and death, and enlightenment given by Buddha Gautama.

๐Ÿ’ The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China (Chinese: pinyin: Wร nlว Chรกngchรฉng) is the collective name of a series of fortress systems commonly built along the historic northern border of China to protect and consolidate the territories of the Chinese and imperial states against various nomadic groups in China. pasture and their rule. Some walls are being built since the 7th century BC by ancient Chinese countries; Selective stretching was later joined together by Qin Shi Huang (220-206 BC), the first Emperor of China. Only a few walls of Qin remained. [3] Later, many successive dynasties had built and maintained several stretches of border walls. The most famous part of the wall was built by the Ming dynasty (1368–1644).

In addition to defense, other objectives of the Great Wall include border control, allowing the imposition of duties on goods transported along the Silk Road, regulation or encouragement of trade and immigration and emigration control. In addition, the defensive characteristics of the Great Wall were enhanced by the construction of guard towers, troop barracks, garrison stations, signaling capabilities through smoke or fire, and the fact that the Great Wall lane also functions as a transportation corridor.

The border wall built by different dynasties has many paths. Collectively, they stretch from Liaodong in the east to Lake Lop in the west, from the current Sino-Russian border in the north to the Taohe River in the south; along an arc that roughly describes the edge of the Mongolian steppes. A comprehensive archeological survey, using advanced technology, has concluded that the wall built by the Ming dynasty was 8,850 km (5,500 mi). It consists of 6,259 km (3,889 mi) of part of the actual wall, 359 km (223 mi) of moat and 2,232 km (1,387 mi) of natural defenses such as hills and rivers. [4] Another archaeological survey found that the entire wall with all branches measuring 21,196 km (13,171 mi). Today, the Great Wall defense system is generally recognized as one of the most impressive architectural achievements in history.

๐Ÿ’ Kaaba

The Ka'ba, also called Bayt al'Atiq (Arabic: Old House), is a restored building during the time of the Prophet Ibrahim and the Prophet Ismail after the Prophet Ismail was in Mecca at the command of Allah SWT. In the Qur'an, sura 14:37 implies that the holy site of the Ka'ba had existed when Prophet Ibrahim placed Hajar and baby Ishmael at that location.

At the time the Prophet Muhammad was 30 years old (around 600 AD and not yet appointed as an apostle at that time), this building was renovated again due to the flash floods that hit the city of Mecca at that time. Had a dispute between tribal leaders or tribes when they want to put back the Hajar Aswad stone in one corner of the Ka'ba, but thanks to Muhammad's settlement the dispute was successfully resolved without bloodshed and without any party being harmed.

At the time of Muhammad's appointment as a prophet until his move to the city of Medina, the Ka'ba building which was originally a religious house of monotheism (monotheism) of Abraham's teachings had been transformed into a temple of worship of the Arabs in which were placed around 360 idols / statues which are the embodiments of the gods of polytheism the Arabs when the darkness of thought (jahilliyah) even though as the teachings of Abraham the ancestor of the Arabs and the Jewish people and the teachings of Moses against the Jews, God the Creator should not be united and worshiped together with any object or creature and never had intermediaries for worshiping him and being single do not resemble him and do not have children and are not begotten (Suras Al-Iklas in the Koran). The Ka'ba was finally cleansed of religious statues of polytheism when the Prophet Muhammad freed the city of Mecca without bloodshed and was returned as a place of worship for monotheism (Islam).

Furthermore, this building was taken care of and maintained by Bani Syaibah as the key holder of the Ka'ba and the administration and hajj services were governed by the good governance of the caliphate of Abu Bakr, Umar bin Khattab, Uthman bin Affan, Ali bin Abi Talib, Muawiyah bin Abu Sufyan, Ummayyah Dynasty, Abbasidya Dynasty Turkey's Ottoman dynasty, until recently the government of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia which acted as servants of two holy cities, Mecca and Medina.

๐Ÿ’  Pyramid

In the history of the construction of the pyramid used long ago. The ancient Egyptians and the Mayans were known to use the pyramid building as the tombs of ancient kings and worship facilities (worship) in addition to being alleged as a place of food storage (storage) since the days when preparations for the famine or treasure storage.

Various analyzes of the use of pyramid construction. Some call it a UFO heritage building on the grounds that there are pyramid-like buildings found on Mars which are at a degree of latitude similar to degrees of latitude on Earth, some say relics of the civilization of Atlantis and some say that pyramid construction was used on the grounds that in past civilizations , humans have difficulty making dome construction. Therefore pyramid construction is used to make it easier. The construction of the dome itself was only used in Roman times with curved construction on concrete buildings and Eastern Rome

Since the 6th century BC, Egypt has been an escape site for the Poshi empire, which lost its position after standing for more than 2,000 years, receiving power from outside the kingdoms of Greece, Rome, Hindu kingdoms and other nations. During that time a large number of famous works of the Pharaoh era were destroyed, the Egyptian characters and religious beliefs were gradually replaced by other cultures, so that the culture of ancient Egypt became faded and destroyed, the latter generation also lost a large amount of relics that could decipher the instructions left by the predecessor.

In 450 BC, after a Greek historian traveled around and arrived in Egypt, the inscription: Cheops, (Khufu Greek script), it is said, was destroyed after 50 years. To some extent the Greek historian uses the phrase "supposedly", meaning that the truth needs to be proven again. However, since then the opinion of the Greek historian has instead become a quote of later generations as important proof that the pyramid was founded in the 4th royal dynasty.

During this time, historians assume that the pyramid is the tomb of the king. Thus, when talking about the pyramid, what comes to mind unconsciously are jewelery and sparkling items. And, in 820 AD, when the governor of Cairo's Islamic general Khalifah Al-Ma'mun led the troops, he first dug a secret passage and entered the pyramid, and when he impatiently entered the room, the sight that was seen made him very disappointed. Not only is there not a single object that is usually buried with corpses, such as pearls, or carvings, not even a piece of broken chips, there is only an empty stone coffin with no cover. While the wall was just a clean, blank field, also there was not a shred of writing.

The conclusion of historians on the achievements of the first time entering this pyramid is "experiencing robbery of objects in the tomb". However, the results of real investigations show, the possibility of grave thieves entering the pyramid through other roads is very small. Under ordinary conditions, grave thieves are also impossible to steal without leaving a trace, and it is even more impossible to erase the entire Pharaoh's inscription depicted on the wall. Compared to other tombs which are generally filled with jewels and abundant treasures, the giant pyramid built to commemorate the majesty of the Pharaoh king became very different.

In addition, in the record "Inventory Stela" stored in the Cairo museum, it was mentioned that the pyramid existed from the beginning before Khufu continued the throne. However, because the notes on the stone inscription strongly challenge the traditional view, there is a problem between the results of the research of experts and the way of writing on the book, then strongly criticizing the value of his research. Actually within the limitations of historical records that can be obtained, if due to certain views then overriding some of the historical evidence, it has unwittingly obstructed us objectively in view of the actual historical position.

๐Ÿ’ Tower of Pisa

The construction of the Tower of Pisa was carried out in three stages over a period of 200 years. The construction of the first floor of a white marble campanile began on 9 August 1173, which was an era of military prosperity and glory. The first floor is surrounded by pillars with classic letters, which tilt toward the arch of the blinds. Actually, the Leaning Tower was supposed to stand as tall as 55 meters, but because the Leaning Tower of Pisa was built on unstable land, the Tower finally tilted from a straight line of 5 meters.

There is controversy regarding the identity of the architect of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. For several years the designer was predicated to a prominent 12th-century local artist in Pisa, who was popular by his bronze molds, especially in the Pisa Duomo. Bonanno Pisano left Pisa in 1185 to go to Monreale, Sicily, only to return home and die in his hometown. His sarcophagus was found at the base of the tower in 1820.

๐Ÿ’ Eiffel Tower

This structure was built between 1887 and 1889 as the entrance to the Exposition Universelle, the World Exhibition which celebrates a century of French Revoulusi. Eiffel actually planned to build a tower in Barcelona, for the Universal Exhibition of 1888, but the responsible parties at the Barcelona city hall found it strange and expensive, and didn't fit into the city. After the rejection of the Barcelona Plan, Eiffel sent its draft to the party responsible for the Universal Exhibition in Paris, where he built his tower a year later, 1889. The tower was inaugurated on 31 March 1889, and opened on 6 May. Three hundred workers joined together 18,083 parts of embedded iron (pure form of structural iron), using two and a half million nails, in structural form by Maurice Koechlin. The risk of accidents is huge, for an unusual modern skyscraper this tower opens without a middle level except for two platforms. However, because Eiffel took a cautious stance, including the use of movable track, auxiliary rails and sails, only one person died.

The construction of the Eiffel Tower in 1889. The tower received various criticisms from the public when it was built, calling it disturbing to the eye. The daily newspaper is filled with letters of criticism from the art community in Paris. One of them was included in the publication of the US Government Publishing Office William Watson regarding the Paris Universal Exhibition, Civil Engineering, Public Works and Architecture 1892. "And for twenty years we see, stretching throughout the city, still lived by geniuses for centuries, we see a stretch like a black shadow from a black column built from nailed iron plates." The signatories of this letter include Messonier, Gounod, Garnier, Gerome, Bougeureau, and Dumas.

The author of the novel Guy de Maupassant - who hates the tower - lunches at the Menara restaurant every day. When asked why, he replied that it was the only place in Paris where we could not see the Tower. Today, it is still considered a striking building art piece.

One of the Hollywood film cliches shows a view from a Parisian window that always shows a tower. In fact, since the height restriction of buildings in Paris is 7 stories high, only a few tall buildings have a clear view of the tower.

Eiffel has a tower standing permit for 20 years, which means it must be demolished in 1909, when ownership was handed over to the City of Paris. The city has planned to tear it down (part of the original contest rules for designing towers that are easy to tear down) but after the tower has proven to be profitable in terms of communication, the tower is left standing after the permit expires. The military used it to arrange Paris taxis on the front lines during the Battle of the First Marne, and became a monument to the victory of that battle.

๐Ÿ’ Statue of Liberty

Liberty Island is a small uninhabited island in New York Harbar, United States, famous for being the site of the Statue of Liberty. Although named as such since the turn of the century, this name was not official until 1956. In 1937, according to the proclamation of 2250, President Franklin D. Roosevel expanded the Statue of Liberty National Monument to cover the whole of Bedloe's Island, and in 1956, official Congress legislation named it Liberty Island. The island was part of the Statue of Liberty National Monument, Ellis Island and Liberty Island sites which were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966. 7 Seven Wonders of the world
