PT Phapros, Tbk is a pharmaceutical company which is a subsidiary of PT Kimia Farma (Persero), which currently control shares up to 56,7% and the rest is held by the public, including employees.

Since it was founded more than 60 years ago, precisely on June 21st 1954, PT. Phapros, Tbk which was originally a part of business of Oei Tiong Ham Corcern with the name NV Pharmaceuticals Processing Industries since the beginning has made a corporate culture based on professionalism and quality oriented.

High commitment to quality and environmental standards proofed by continuously tracking changes in quality standards through implementation of the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), current Herbal Good Manufacturing Practices (cHGMP), as well as the requirements of the distribution of medical devices and Medical Device Good Manufacturing Practices (MDGMP), Finance and Accounting Standard Requirements and Integrated Management System of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO/IEC 17025 and Risk Management.

Currently, the company has produced more than 284 items of drugs, and most of them are the result of the company development (non-licensed) that are classified into ethical, generic, OTC, and Agromed. Beside to produce its own drugs, PT Phapros, Tbk is trusted by the other pharmaceutical companies to produce pharmaceutical product through Contract Manufacturing cooperation. The products in addition to national needs as well as to the needs of other countries through export cooperation established since 2013.

Until now, there are 6 products are allowed to circulate in neighboring countries, such as Cambodia. In addition, the company has begun to expand the scope of its business in the sector of non-drug form of non-electro medical devices that have obtained distribution permission from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.

To strengthen the business foundation, management strives to implement Good Corporate Governance (GCG). Also, management will continue to build professional competence of personnel through human resources development program, to bring the company into the era of free trade as a leading pharmaceutical company in the region. The Company is a limited liability company domiciled in Semarang, established under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, based on Deed of Establishment of Limited Liability Company PT Prima Cakrawala Abadi No. 111 dated 29 January 2014, was made before Hasbullah Abdul Rasyid, S.H., M.Kn., Notary in South Jakarta, which had been approved by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia ("Menkumham") based on Decree No. AHU-08990.AH.01.01.Tahun 2014 dated March 3, 2014 ("Deed of Establishment of the Company").
Since its establishment, the articles of association in the Company's Deed of Establishment have been amended several times as stated in the Deed of Shareholders Decree No. 20 dated 19 September 2017, made before Rini Yulianti, S.H., Notary in East Jakarta, which has been received and registered in the Legal Entity Administration System ("Sisminbakum") Menkumham based on the Letter of Acceptance of the Notification of Corporate Data No. AHU-AH.01.03-0172879 dated 19 September 2017, has obtained approval from Menkumham based on Decree No. AHU-0019278.AH.01.02.Tahun 2017 dated 19 September 2017, has been registered in the Company Register in accordance with the provisions of the Company Law No. AHU-0116780.AH.01.11.Year 2017, September 19, 2017 ("Deed No. 20/2017").

The main business activities, namely processing of fishery product distribution (crab), fishery product processing industry (cold storage), as well as business in the field of trade in general, including imports, exports, interinsulair and local of all kinds of goods or services that can be traded both for calculation alone or other parties on a commission basis, becoming wholesalers, suppliers / suppliers, distributors and agents as well as representatives from both domestic and foreign of all kinds of merchandise and services, both the products of other parties and the results of their own production.
