The company was founded in 1977 by Dr. HC. Martha Tilaar, (the late)
Pranata Bernard, and Theresa Harsini Setiady. In 1981, the company
established the first modern factory on Jl. Pulo Ayang No. 3,
Pulogadung Industrial Estate, which manufactures cosmetics and herbal
medicine with brand "Sariayu-Martha Tilaar" for the first time. In
1986, the Company established a second modern factory on Jl. Pulo
Kambing, Pulogadung Industrial Estate ("Pulo Kambing Factory"). Due to
the rapid sales growth, in 1995, the company transferred production of
herbs to Gunung Putri, Bogor. While the Pulo Ayang factrory transferred
to a subsidiary company, which is PT Cempaka Belkosindo Indah. It's
manufactures cosmetics with the brand "Mirabella" and "Cempaka". In
2005, PT Cempaka Belkosindo Indah be merged with the company so that
the brand "Mirabella" and "Cempaka" also combined with the production
at Pulo Kambing factory. Furthermore, Pulo Ayang factory transferred and
enable as a sales office aside to the company's Distribution Center,
located on Jl. Pulo Ayang No. 24-25, Pulogadung Industrial Estate.
In 1993, the company acquired PT Cedefindo, which the main business
areas are Contract Manufacturing (Makloon) in cosmetic products, as the
company's business expansion to upstream. Next, the company sells
assets of the plant in Gunung Putri and then continue to run the plant

PT Langgeng Makmur Industri Tbk (“the
Company”) started its commercial operations in 1976 with a manufacture
of plastic houseware. The Company expanded its business by producing
aluminium kitchenware in 1980, then PVC pipe in 1987 and plastic woven
bag in the following year. In 1996, the Company started the expansion
for manufacturing of non-stick aluminium cookware which promoted high
quality products.
The Company was established under the
Domestic Capital Investment Law No. 6 of 1968 as amended by Law No. 12
of 1970, based on the Notarial Deed No. 40 dated November 30, 1972 of
Kho Boen Tian, S.H., which was amended by Notarial Deed No. 3 dated
January 7, 1976 of the same notary concerning the change in the
Company's name from PT Langgeng Jaya Plastic Industry Ltd., to PT
Langgeng Makmur Plastic Industry Ltd. The deed of establishment and its
changes were approved by the Ministry of Justice in its Decision Letter
No. Y.A 5/39/11 dated January 24, 1976 and as published in the State
Gazette No. 62 Supplement No. 706 dated August 4, 1987. Based on
Notarial Deed No. 450 dated June 27, 1997 of Adam Kasdarmadji, S.H., the
Company's name has been changed, to PT Langgeng Makmur Industri Tbk,
which was approved by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of
Indonesia in its decision letter No. C2-6.500 HT.01.04 TH.97 dated July
10, 1997. The Company's Articles of Association has been amended several
times, the latest was by Notarial Deed No. 22 dated July 24, 2015 of
Siti Nurul Yuliami, S.H., M.Kn., to comply with the Indonesian Financial
Services Authority No.32/POJK.04/2014 and No.33/POJK.04/2014 and other
regulations of capital market and its implementing regulations. The
amendment was approved by the Minister of Laws and Human Rights of the
Republic of Indonesia in its Decision Letter No. AHU-0940037.AH.01.02.
