Bumi Teknokultura Unggul (BTEK)
PT Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (The Company) was established based on Notarial Deed Rusman, SH, substitute
of Notary Elliza Asmawel, SH, on 6 June 2001 No. 12 and amended by
Notarial Deed Elliza Asmawel, SH, No. 10 dated 5 March 2002. The
establishment deed was approved by the Minister of Justice and Human
Rights of the Republic of Indonesia through Decree No. C-06880.
HT.01.01.TH.2002 23 April 2002 and was registered at the Company
Registration Office in the Municipality of South Jakarta 880 / BH.09.03
/V / 2002 dated 7 May 2002, and was published in the State Gazette of
the Republic of Indonesia No. 80 Additional No. 9565 dated 7 October
2003.
The Articles of Association has been
amended several times, most recently by notarial deed of Desman, SH, M.
Hum., M.M., No. 48 dated 9 June 2015 with respect to changes in the
entire articles of association in order to comply with the Financial
Services Authority (FSA). This amendment has been adopted in accordance
with the decision of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights Republic
of Indonesia with Decree No. AHU- 0938900.AH.01.02 2015 regarding the
approval of amendments of the Company.
According to Article 3 of the Articles
of Association, the scope of activities of the Company is engaged in
agricultural biotechnology, Forest Management Rights (HPH), Planted
Forest Industries (HTI) and Trade. Its head office is located at Rukan
Permata Senayan Complex, Block E No. 38 Jl. Tentara Pelajar South
Jakarta 12210, while the location of business activities in Jl. Raya
Otonom, Pasar Kemis, Cikupa, Tangerang. The Company started doing
commercial operations in June 2001.
The Company earliest business activity
is in the field of bio-technology of agriculture, whereas the current
main activities of the Company are nursery for forestry plants, food
crops, medicinal plants, tropical ornamental plants, logging (HPH), as
well as the trading of logs.
Having been continuing business
development in the forestry sector in 2015 the Company has planned to
acquire companies that have forest management license, Industrial
Plywood license and Industrial Forestry Estate license.
In 2016 the Company acquired Golden
Harvest Cocoa PTE. LTD, a company which was engaged in the processing of
cocoa bean to be the raw material for the consumer goods industry.
The Company strives to be the best at managing forests in a sustainable manner through the development of management practices and research. To achieve this goal, the Company has
a mission to develop multi forest management units into an integrated,
increasing yields from forests and plantations through research and
development and application of techniques of forest and timber industry
management, forestry and manufacturing practices that are responsible
sustainable and balanced.
To provide continuously reliable
supplies to the consumers, the Company upholds the best ethics and
management, as well as continues to build its competitive strengths and
business opportunities to be the leading forest management unit.

administrative and technical skills, which can be held inside and
outside the Company.

Forest Consesi On Right (HPH)
The Company is listed as a supplier of high-quality timber and
dominates the local market. By having license in Timber Forest Product
Utilization in Natural Forest (IUPHHK-HA), the Company has always been
committed to preserve the environment and natural resources, especially
forests, conservation and sustainable manner so that it brings no
negative effect on nature.
Logging Services
In addition to processing wood for its own sake, the Company also
offers Logging services to other companies that have cooperated formally
and its implementation is supervised by the government.
Cocoa Processing Industry
In 2016 the Company acquired Golden Harvest Cocoa Pte.Ltd, an
investment company whose subsidiaries was engaged in the processing of
