Campina Ice Cream Industry (CAMP)
On July 22, 1972 in the city of Surabaya was born one of the producers of ice cream which was founded by Mr. Darmo Hadipranoto along with his wife, they created an ice cream called Campina in the garage of a house located on Jl. Gembong Sawah, Surabaya. That's when they founded CV Pranoto. Campina's ice cream owned by Mr. Darmo began to be known and became a favorite ice cream for the community to invite the agenda of the visit of the Governor of East Java, Mr. H.Mo Noer to the Campina factory in 1973.
Campina always presents special products from natural ingredients, hygienic and quality. In order to increase product variants, in 1984, Campina moved its factory location to Rungkut, Surabaya, which is still in use today. The development of Campina sales methods also began to vary, from using a bicycle fleet, freezer to van.
In accordance with Campina's vision to become the largest ice cream producer, in 1994 the Bp. Sabana Prawirawidjaja (PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry) participated in the ownership of shares so the company name changed to PT Campina Ice Cream Industry. Campina also continues to grow to strengthen its products, one of which is by establishing cooperative relationships with special cable TV networks for Nicklodeon children's shows. Campina is the only licensee of krim Spongebob ’and‘ Avatar ’ice cream products in Southeast Asia

Campina's commitment as the largest ice cream producer, always upholds the principles of business that is friendly to the environment, this is realized in the form of participation in maintaining the balance of nature to reduce global warming. Some examples of activities that have been carried out are planting 1000 trees in Banda Aceh and the existence of Roof Top Organic Garden in the factory environment, and processing waste into compost. A healthy lifestyle is realized by having a delicious vegan menu in the employees' canteen every day.
