1992
PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi established on 21 December 1992, as part of upgraded process of Division LNG PT Humpuss

1997
HITS go public, the first listed Company from shipping sector. The first Company with ISM certificate.

2012
One of HITS’s subsidiary abroad was filed for winding up. The Suspension of Debt Payment Obligation proposed by PT Jasmanindo Sapta Perkasa had been completed by Central Jakarta Commercial Court.

2013
Legal matters solved, fulfilling Suspension of Debt Payment Obligation. HITS optimized capital structure by capitalizing some of the debts. Managing more than 1,000 crews for 40 vessels.

2014
Transforming the business, focusing on 6 main businesses. HITS divested shares of HTC to PT Sarana Niaga Buana (SNB).  Capitalizing debt to third parties, issued new 2,331,552,091 shares. Composition of shareholders: PT Humpuss (45.52%), PT Menara Cakra Buana (32.83%), and public below 5% (21.65%).

2015
Planning to expand to cement, goods transportation business and provide dredging vessel. Obtaining contract from PEL to distribute gas from Bontang to Bali for period of seven years. Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi HITS

 Since 2012, HITS focus on Business Restructuring, besides loan and organization restructuring. HITS transform from Operating Holding into an Investment Holding.
 The core business operations of HITS is transportation which is supported by three subsidiaries engaged in the respective business segments, consisting of domestic and internatinoal shipping (PT Humpuss Transportasi Kimia), marine support and dredging as well as crew manning and training services (PT Misi Hutama Internasional).
 PT HTK 99.9% owned by HITS was established in 2004 to support HITS’s main business activity in the field of integrated energy transportation services that focuses on LNG Transport, Petrochemical Transport, Oil Transport and Offshore Support Vessel business activities.
 PT MISI engaging in marine support, dredging,  crew manning and crew training services. Crew manning services are managed by PT MCS Internasional (PT MCSI) which has adopted the ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System on Biro Klasifikasi and Class NK certification. On March 11, 2016, the Humpuss Trilogy Maritime Training Center (HTMTC) in collaboration with Universitas Trilogi, which specializes in training crews for oil and gas tankers. Currently, HTMTC has 11 training programs Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi HITS

 

 LNG transportation service, managed by PT HTK, serves PT Pertamina (Persero) using Ekaputra 1 vessel. PT HTK also operates 2 LNG vessels belonging to third party. Quality crews who meet a number of requirements for domestic and international shipping standards, with certificates on crews and vessels. The LNG transportation contract with PT Pertamina (Persero) still prevails until 2020 for Ekaputra 1 vessel.
 HITS has an LNG transport service namely Triputra with capacity of 20.000 DWT with a length of 150 meters that serves PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT Pelindo Energy Listrik (PT PEL)—a subsidiary of Pelindo III—to transport gas for mini power plant in Bali with capacity of 250 MW. The contract for 7 years to transport gas from Bontang to Bali, which begins in 2016.

 Oil transportation managed by PT HTK, served Pertamina – permanent customer – to transport fuel, i.e. premium, kerosene, diesel fuel, pertamax, and naphta, from and to regions all over the country.

 This segment is managed by HTK in cooperation with Pertamina for two years and is always extended in terms of leasing of tanker vessels

 Petrochemical transportation managed by PT HTK. The fact that Indonesia's chemical industry is growing rapidly, which makes petrochemical a potential market, is unavoidable. This condition caused an increase in petrochemical vessels demand. It is an opportunity that needs to be taken by PT HTK in years to come by providing larger fleets specialized to transport chemical around the country.
 Petrochemical transportation has gained captive market to transport ammonia and methanol.

 Currently PT HTK has four offshore support vessels, comprising of three harbor tugs and a mooring boat to transport logistics for the operational demand of Floating Storage Regasification Unit/FSRU owned by PT Nusantara Regas (NR) in Kepulauan Seribu. PT HTK has signed contract with NR until 2022 for this business.

 Dredging/removal of sea sand, among others, for the purpose of port maintenance and reclamation. This newly launched business segments by HITS supports an infrastructure program which is currently rolled out by the Government.

 HITS aware, it is essential to have Ship Management to operate and maintain their fleet as per Costumer/Charterer expectation.
 The Ship Management under HITS Group are running to ensure each vessel is operate and manage properly in accordance with Regulations, industry requirement such as SIRE, TMSA and ISO standard for Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001) & OHSAS (ISO 18001).  HITS ensurer corporate philosophy and policy shall reach and apply to all aspect of vessel operation, seafarer, working environment and safety culture can be created continously.

 Marine support managed by PT HTC to transport coal, but in line with the evolving Mining Regulations No. 4 year 2009, HITS changed the function of this business segment in addition to bulk transport also harbor tug.
 This segment also serves the national seaport agency business, ship management services including vessel supply and refueling service. The shipping agency bureaus established by HITS are located in Jakarta (Tanjung Priok), Bontang, and Gresik.

 This segment managed by PT MCSI for crew manning, the Company runs construction and management of competent, well-trained and highly motivated crew members through the development of
 recruitment standards based on the 1995 International Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) Convention and the Amandement by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
 This business segment is also being developed for seafarers training services that managed by PT ETSI, especially for certified oil and gas tankers and management quality standards of TUV Rheinland.
