The Company was estabIlished on February
7,1980 which previously named PT Melawai Indah Plaza. On November 27,
2002 the company’s name has been changed to PT Metro Supermarket Realty
Tbk.
The company is engaged in business of supermarket, property management, investment and real estate development.
By operationally, for the first time the
company commenced its commercial in 1982 at the Building of Metro Pasar
Baru, Jl Samanhudi, Jakarta.
By letter from Chief of the Capital
Market Supervisory Board No. S2096/PM/1991, effectively the company has
public offered its 1.500.000 shares throught.
As of August 12, 1992, the company
listed all of its shares (company listing) in the Jakarta Stock Exchange
and Surabaya Stock Exchange as of April 19, 1993, and the Company
distributed its 5.400.000 bonus shares which from capital paid in excess
of par.
As December 3, 1993, in connection with
the limited Public Offering of Right Issue, the company has offered its
7.560.000 shares with par valuae Rp 1.000 per shares.
As of Desember 28, 1994, the company distributed its 31,752,000 bonus shares which from capital paid in excessof par.
In accordance with Extraordinary General
Meeting of shareholders dated June 14, 1996, the Company unlisted its
share (delisting) in the Surabaya Stock Exchange.
The company has a subsidiary, PT Yakin
Gloria, which is engaged in business of real estate development. The
company has 99.90% shares in this subsidiary.
The total employees of the company is 86
person, comprise of various position with certain expertise and
capabilities in line with the job allocation.
