PT Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama, Tbk., As part of the Jaya Group, is an integrated infrastructure company with core competencies in the infrastructure sector and the building construction sector, asphalt trading and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), precast concrete fabrication and mechanical and electrical work and maintenance services. Initially, the Company was a Contractor Division at PT Pembangunan Jaya, which later became a separate legal entity on December 23, 1982 and listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in December 2007.
In 2007, the Company acquired four direct subsidiaries: PT Jaya Trade Indonesia, PT Jaya Teknik Indonesia, PT Jaya Beton Indonesia and PT Jaya Daido Concrete. Since then, the Company has expanded through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, and now has a portfolio of specialized indirect subsidiaries which includes PT Jaya Gas Indonesia, PT Sarana Merpati Utama, PT Sarana Lampung Utama, PT Toba Gena Utama, PT Adigas Jaya Pratama , PT Sarana Bitung Utama, PT Metroja Mandiri, PT Kenrope Utama, PT Adibaroto Nugratama, PT Sarana Lombok Utama, PT Jaya Celcon Prima and PT Global Bitumen Utama. In 2009, the Company consolidated its existence as a toll road contractor and operator by building two joint ventures, PT Jaya Konstruksi Pratama Tol (with PT Pembangunan Jaya Infrastruktur) and PT Jaya Sarana Pratama (with PT Jaya Real Property Tbk) and PT Jakarta Tollroad Development in 2015. At the same time, the Company through PT Jaya Trade Indonesia continued to develop the bulk asphalt terminal business, establishing PT Sarana Mbay Utama and PT Sarana Aceh Utama in 2009, PT Sarana Sampit Mentaya Utama in 2010. PT Jaya Trade Indonesia also has expanded its LPG sales business by building PT Kenrope Sarana Pratama in 2010 and PT Kenrope Utama Sentul in 2011. In 2010, the Company established a foothold in the water management business through PT Jaya Teknik Indonesia, which started the existence of PT Sarana Tirta Utama and PT Jaya Mitra Sarana in 2010.
In July 2013, the Company issued new shares by issuing 326,170,397 shares, or equal to 10% of the total issued and paid-up capital. The results are used to fund investment in new infrastructure, especially inner-city toll roads and drinking water supply facilities, and to finance capacity expansion in Jaya Beton and Jaya Trade. In September of the same year, the Company conducted a 1: 5 stock split to increase stock liquidity. PT Jaya Trade Indonesia has also expanded its ship charter business by building Jaya Trade PTE Ltd in 2014.
The latest investment made by the Company in 2018 is on February 21, 2018, the Company has invested a 30% stake in PT VSL Indonesia.
