The company was established under the name of PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk (PT IKAI Tbk), initially established as a manufacturing industry and engaged in the production and marketing of Ceramics under the brand name Essenza. At present, since 2017, PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk, has been present with new management consisting of professional human resources in their respective fields.
PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk (IKAI) originaly was Manufacture Company to produce Homogeneous Tile (porcelain tile) with the trademark “Essenza” and began operating commercially in May 1993.
In Indonesia , Essenza is known as the pioneer of Homogenous Tile, with best quality and trusted brand, where Essenza is frequently appreciated by the public with various awards such as Forbes 2015 – 20 Rising Global Stars, 2014 Superbrands, SWA Top 250 Original Indonesia Brands, 2013 iDea Rumah, Readeers Choice Awards, 2009 Businessweek-Frontier Indonesia Most Admired Companies, 2007 Primaniyarta Awards.
In 2017, PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk, was present with new management who have professional human resources in their respective fields. Currently, manufacturing production are managed by a subsidiary PT Internusa Keramik Alamasri (INKA).
To support the ceramic (porcelain tile) business industry, IKAI’s management considering their needs to develop business outside of manufacturing, but still have a linkages and synergy with the ceramic/ tile industry which is the beginning of the Company’s business. IKAI is developing business in the hotel property sector, along with the development of tourism and infrastructure businesses in Indonesia.
IKAI estimates the property industry will grow in line with Government policies that support the industry such as relaxing Loan to Value (LTV), lowering mortgage rates, lowering the Property Sales Income Tax rates, tax amnesty and accelerating infrastructure development. PT REALINDO SAPTA OPTIMA
PT Realindo Sapta Optima (PT RSO is one of the subsidiaries of PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk, domiciled in Jakarta at Bidakara 2 Tower, Jenderal Gatot Subroto street Kav. 71-73, Pancoran, South Jakarta. Currently, the Company has not started its commercial operations.
Until mid-2018, the Company is still in the process of building its commercial asset. On January 30, 2018, RSO has secured a cooperation agreement with the hotel operator, JW Marriott International. After the agreement, the Company plans to name the asset to JW Marriott, Ubud. The agreement consists of a Memorandum of Understanding and Interim Advisory Service Agreement between JW Marriott International and PT Realindo Sapta Optima. Through this agreement, the Company received the Technical Assistance in developing the hotel construction, design, furnishing, and equipment standards.
The hotel will be built on an area of 6.9 hectares with a total of 72 hotel rooms and 28 units of villas. The hotel has five-star standard with 2 restaurants, function rooms, wedding venues, 2 swimming pools, etc. Architectural design is by Popo Danes and the contractor is by Totalindo Eka Persada. PT MAM is one of the subsidiaries of PT Intikeramik Alamasri Industri Tbk which manages 2.3 hectares of land in Ubud Bali with plans to build a hotel with a total of 150 units of rooms and 10 units of villas.
The company is still finale states of agreement with an international scale operator that can provide added value to the property assets. The design of this asset has been completed by Popo Danes and landscape consultant by John Petigrew. Infrastructure development and others will begin in the second half of 2018.
