Express Group consistently recruited drivers through rigorous selection
and clear procedures to ensure the safety of customers. Express Group
was also equipped with contact center for customer to submit their
opinion, critics and complaints.
With regard to facilities and safety, Express Group routinely conducted maintenance activities on its taxi units. The maintenance activities included emissions check, KIR check (test for vehicle eligibility), tera check and so forth. Express Group provided instrument and technical equipment related to safety procedures. In addition, Express Group also periodically monitored the implementation of safety procedures in the field. So Express Group managed to record a low level of work accident.

our management team felt the needs of good corporate governance in
managing their day-to day business activities. The good corporate
governance being adopted was influenced by our vision, mission and
corporate values. Express Group good corporate governance implementation
reflects the management commitment to continually create a transparent
and accountable company among its entire stakeholder. By enhancing the

Implementation of Good Corporate Governance
Express Groups always sustain its operational and financial
performances well. This is supported by the implementation of good
corporate governance which refers to the provision contemplated in
prevailing regulations.
The rules and regulations are Law of Republic Indonesia No. 40 of
2007 regarding Limited Liability Company, Financial Service Authority
No. 21/PO JK/04/2015 on Implementation of Corporate Governance for
Public Company and Circular Letter of Financial Service Authority (SEO
JK) related to Public Company Corporate Governance. The Company also
commits in applying Good Corporate Governance which covers the aspects

Objectives of Good Corporate Governance
The Company strives to maintain its operational activities in accordance with prevailing regulations.
Express Group recognizes the importance of maintaining the balance
of interests among the shareholders, the Company itself, and the other
stakeholders. Therefore, Express group continues to implements the
principles of GCG, with the understanding that performing business
activities in accordance to the best practices.
Company views GCG as base in
realizing business ethic practices to become a Good Corporate Citizen
which also functioned to maintain the Company’s sustainability.
Express group holds the
responsibility to conduct the business in accordance with appropriate
business ethics and with high integrity. This is done by conducting its
businesses and performing business activities based on the corporate
cultures and values. In this regard, Express group has established the
supporting elements to GCG implementation, by formulating the Corporate
Cultures and Values, Code of Conduct, and the Board Manual. The Board
Manual guides the Board of Commissioners as well as the Board of
Directors in performing their duties and function in accordance with GCG
principles.
The Manual of the Board of
Directors or of the Board of Commissioners is formulated with respect to
the provisions in the Article of Association as well as direction from
the shareholders of Express Group and Financial Services Authority
Regulation No. 33/PO JK.04/2014 on the Board of Directors and the Board
of Commissioners of a Public Company.
Good Corporate Governance Structure
Based on Law of Republic of Indonesia No. 40 of 2007 regarding Limited
Liability Company (Law of Limited Liability Company), Company’s organs
consist of General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS), Board of
Commissioners, Board of Directors with respective duties and
responsibilities. The organs may also be supported by other committees

environment performances aside from the economic aspect. Express Group

Environmental Aspect and Social Development
In 2018, the Company conducted
emission test on each taxi fleet to reduce air pollution caused by
vehicles in general. In addition, water and electricity savings were
applied to maintain the environmental sustainability.

Shinta and Marsudi, Married Couple Express Taxi Driver - Express Partner
Probably the first in Indonesia, a married couple being a taxi driver. Shinta and Marsudi, a married couple who are partners of Express Taxi drivers. Which, Shinta's status as the main driver or "bravo" and her husband Marsudi became "Charlie". Both of them drove Express Taxi door number EF 0750 from Cipayung Pool, East Jakarta.
Although only a year old, corn joined the Express, but both are quite experienced in taxi driving and they got acquainted when working in a taxi company before.
The night schedule or "bat" is the working time they choose. According to him, the time is quite comfortable to operate, in addition to not being hot, traffic is also relatively smoother. "Children have grown up. They are already at school, the smallest will enter high school. They accepted me as a taxi driver, as long as this work is halal and their needs can be met. ” Shinta said.

Rokhmatulloh - Mitra Express
We are acquainted with Mr. Rokhmatulloh. EC 1678 driver from Jagakarsa Pool. Born in Tegal 40 years ago, this 4th grade elementary school boy has joined the Express Group since 2007. Not unexpectedly he is a graduate of Agriculture from Widyagama University, Malang. His career began in Tambun as a quality control staff in one of the cotton spinning companies. Due to lack of compatibility with the work atmosphere he slammed the profession into a taxi driver.
In 1997 he was accepted as a Silvera taxi driver. He tried this job because of a friend's invitation. One year through his new world he continued to other operators namely Star Queen and Bluebird. "It's not any factor that caused him to move companies, but the monetary crisis where many taxi operators went bankrupt," he said.
The experience of driving in various taxi operators gives him a lot of experience. That experience prompted him to join the Express Group in hopes of having a taxi unit that he brought.
This success story is known from his own younger brother. At the beginning of joining Taxi Express, actually he was Charlie's driver from his sister in Ciganjur Pool. And seeing his sister succeed, he decided to become a bravo. In total, there are 13 relatives who are drivers of Express Taxis. Something that according to the author himself is interesting.
