Since it was founded in 1994, PT Armidian Karyatama Tbk is committed to developing the Maja area as a new independent city to support the growth of Jakarta's urban areas. The company is one of the private companies that contributed to the development plan of the City of Maja Kinship which was postponed in 1998 due to the monetary crisis. The monetary crisis did not dampen the Company's intention to continue to develop the Maja area, and as such the Company gradually continued to acquire and accumulate land for the development area so that it has succeeded in having an area of approximately 490 hectares. In 2013, the Company, together with its parent company, PT Mandiri Mega Jaya, signed a joint operation agreement with the Ciputra group to begin the development of an independent city project named Citra Maja Raya. The Company, together with PT Mandiri Mega Jaya and PT Harvest Time, affiliated parties, established an Operational Cooperation ("KSO") with PT Citra Benua Persada, a business unit of the Ciputra group, for an independent township development project located in Maja District, Regency Lebak, Banten Province since 6 September 2013. The KSO agreement covers the development of the 430-hectare Citra Maja Raya project with the option to add as much land area to as much as 1,000 hectares. Until now, the total land for development owned by the Company that is part of the Citra Maja Raya project is 230 hectares. The collaboration scheme between the Company and PT Harvest Time with PT Citra Benua Persada is where the Company is committed to providing land for development while Ciputra plays a role in development and marketing. The company received compensation for the land price of IDR 70,000 per square meter with an increase of 10% per year. The distribution of net income between the Company and PT Harvest Time is 53% and 47% of the 50%: 50% portion with PT Citra Benua Persada, respectively. Citra Maja Raya is an independent city development project located in front of the Maja Train Station, which can be accessed by commuter train from Tanah Abang Station, Jakarta, with a travel time of ± 90 minutes.
