Waskita Beton Precast (WSBP)
PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) was formally
established as a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) on
October 7, 2014. WSBP is a company that focuses on precast
and ready mixed concrete production, as it became the largest current
producer in Indonesia. The company listed its first shares on the
Indonesian Stock Exchange market (Bursa Efek Indonesia/BEI) on
September 20, 2016.
Shortly after IPO 2016, various achievements and goals have been
surpassed by the company, with the inclusion of winning the Alpha 10th Annual Best Deal & Solution Award Southeast Asia 2016, with
funds reaching above 5.1 trillion rupiahs. Following that, WSBP also
got included in the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) 2017, the Index LQ45 in early 2018, as well as the Indeks Kompas 100 in 2018.
Alongside that, WSBP earned 3 verified certificates for system management integration in 2017, which includes the ISO 9001: 2015, based on Quality Management System, the 14001:2015 on Environment Management System, and OHSAS 18001:2007 on Occupational, Health and Safety Management System. WSBP also became a leading example for health management and work safety standards.
As of this moment, the company has an approximate production
capacity as much as 3,5 million tons every year, with support from 11
working plants, as well as 72 batching plants and 5 quarries. There has
been various architectural wonders built by using WSBP’s precast
& ready mix concrete, including Bali’s Benoa highway, the
Gempol-Pasuruan highway, the Gempol-Porong highway, the
Pejagan-Pemalang highway (both packets 1&2), an LRT in Palembang,
the Becakayu highway sections 1B and 1C, Terminal 3 in Soekarno Hatta
International Airport, the busway route in Adam Malik, an underpass in
Palembang, as well as other massive Indonesian architectural projects.
In order to maximize the utility of product commitment and
innovation, WSBP built a 3 - story laboratorium in Karawang, ranging
across 1,1 ha and 2.261m2> in land and building area. The
construction of the laboratory is considered to be a step further for
WSBP, in terms of completing lab production tools and materials in
every working plant. Active and operating laboratories in May 2018 is
intended for research activities, to support and utilize the birth of
upcoming products and innovations, in order to continue carrying out
