Kirana Megatara (KMTR)
Kirana Megatara Group is a world class
corporation and the leading group of rubber processors in Indonesia.
Incorporated under the name PT.
Kirana Megatara in 1991 as a holding company, the Group now has 16 subsidiaries
of processing companies. The oldest processor, PT Djambi Waras was established
on 27th October 1964, while the recent addition, PT Bintang Agung Persada,
joined in 2019. The Group is listed as a public company on the
Indonesian Stock Exchange on 19th June 2017.
With a total annual capacity of
720,000 metric tonnes, the Group produces technically specified rubber of the
type SIR-10, SIR-20, and SIR-20 CV. Most of these products are
exported to major global tyre companies, including Bridgestone, Michelin,
GoodYear, Pirelli, Continental, Sumitomo, Toyo Tires, Yokohama, Hankook, Kumho,
Nexen, Cooper, Apollo, and international traders, such as R1
International. Domestic sales go to the tyre industry with Gajah Tunggal
as the leading customer.
The Group upholds product quality and customer satisfaction as its
top priorities. All products meet the Indonesian National Standard
(SNI). It has also received ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality
management system, and recently ISO 14001:2015 for its environmental
management system. Always concern for the sustainability of the rubber
industry, the Group has its Sustainable Natural Rubber policy
underpinning all its activities.
A plantation subsidiary was added to the Group in 2011 with a total
planted area of 3,679 hectares amid a land bank of 10,000 hectares. Kirana Megatara History
