Goodyear Indonesia (GDYR)

 Goodyear is the world's largest tire manufacturer. Employs more than 64,000 people with a production plant of 48 units in 22 countries throughout the world. Two of its innovation centers at the Innation Center in Akron, Ohio and Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg always strive to create superior products and services that are the industry's standard of technology and performance.
 The Goodyear logo is a trademark inspired by the god Mercury Roman statue in the home of Goodyear's founder, Frank Seiberling. According to him Mercury describes many characters that are in accordance with Goodyear products.

1898
Goodyear was founded by Frank A. Seiberling and entered his first home: a plywood factory on the banks of the Little Cuyahoga River in East Akron, Ohio, United States. The company was named in honor of Charles Goodyear, who invented the rubber vulcanization process in 1839. The company produced horse foot pads, bicycles and tread tires, selling clamps for cans, fire hoses and even poke rubber almonds 


1908
The Model T of Henry Ford's car, equipped with Goodyear tires, was a middle class sensation

1964
Using Goodyear tires, Craig Breedlove became the first person to drive 600 miles (960KM) in one hour

1971
The first tire arrived on the moon - Apollo 14 MET (Modularized Equipment Transporter) - softened with Goodyear XLT tires

Goodyear celebrates its 100th birthday

Goodyear stands at the top of the drag race standings in many professional and sporting categories in the International and National Hot Rod Association matches in the United States.

2004
Goodyear and NASCAR celebrate 50 years of togetherness. Goodyear is the longest-running brand to sponsor a sporting event.

2005
Goodyear launches Run0nFlat technology which is the next generation of flat run type tires available for all types of vehicles. Run0nFlat Technology is the only tire that can be used in a flat state up to 80km with a speed of 80km / hour

2009
Goodyear and NASA created "SpringTire" for the moon - a tire that is energy efficient and will not go flat.

2010
Goodyear Asia Pacific launches tires with Fuel Saving Technology, so drivers can explore further with far less and less exhaust emissions.

2012
Goodyear’s Air Maintenance Technology ™ is recognized by TIME magazine as the best 2012 innovation

Goodyear found that using soybean oil in tire production would increase service life by 10 percent and reduce the use of crude oil.  

2014
Goodyear announced plans to convert rice husk waste into more fuel efficient tires

2015
