The company was founded in 1981 under the name. Widya Ekadharma Graphic, then underwent several name changes that eventually became PT. Ekadharma International Tbk. The
company has become a public company and listed its shares on the
Jakarta Stock Exchange and Surabaya Stock Exchange since 1990. Since
1983, the company has started to develop business in the industrial
world of adhesive tapes to meet market demand in Indonesia.
Along
with the growth and rapid market demand Indonesia since 1991, the
company has started to open branches and other supporting facilities,
which until now has 45 branches and stock points throughout Indonesia.
In July 2007, Visko Industries Sdn. Bhd.,
A subsidiary set up a manufacturing plant in Port Klang Free Zone
