 J Trust Co. Ltd. (J Trust), a holding company with a global scope of operations located at Toranomon First Garden, 1-7-12 Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo 105-0001, was selected as the winner among 11 interested parties in the Bank Mutiara divestment process (the Company) which previously under the control of the Indonesian Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS). A conditional sale and purchase agreement between LPS and J Trust that has been signed and is effective after the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) of the Company on November 20, 2014, allows J Trust to own a majority of the Company's shares with the exception of the regulation limiting 40 % foreign ownership in commercial commercial banks in Indonesia. The EGMS made J Trust the owner of 99% shares of the Company after the LPS previously received a letter of approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) received on November 10, 2014.

 After becoming a major shareholder, J Trust sent its best representatives to improve its capabilities and restructure the Company. After various internal improvements and consolidations with various companies under the auspices of J Trust, the Company changed its name to PT Bank Jtrust Indonesia Tbk. through the EGMS on March 30, 2015. After obtaining approval from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights on April 7, 2015, and OJK approval on May 21, 2015, PT Bank Jtrust Indonesia Tbk was officially announced to the public on May 29, 2015. The announcement was the beginning of the presence of J Trust The bank is present to provide quality services with Japanese standards to people in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
